I am thankful for birthdays. Birthdays are my second favorite of holidays, next to Christmas. A birthday is the only holiday that is personalized for each person, in other words, a birthday is YOUR day, even if that day is shared with many others, it is still yours and yours alone. Birthdays are a celebration of your life. And what better gift could anyone get than to enjoy one more birthday?

Today is my wife Bebe's birthday. For that reason today is an important day for her and for me. It is a milestone in her life but I'm not telling how many! Thanks for spending a good chunk of your life with me, Bebe! And never stop smiling or wearing silly hats!

Good idea about the half birthday thing, Rick. That reminds me of Disney's Unbirthdays, where you actually celebrate every day that isn't your birthday.

Yes, I am planning on watching the par 3 contest today. I do wish it was live though, as in me being there.

Nice thoughts about birthdays and happy birthday to Bebe. I might be taking birthdays a step too far, but what about "half birthdays"? Today, April 10, is my half birthday since my birthday is October 10, six months earlier. No, I haven't seen a half birthday card yet, but I need to start looking. :)
