Sense of Hearing

June 2

I am thankful for the sense of hearing. It allows for communication between people, cautions us against things, and, my favorite, to be able to savor beautiful music. What a wonderful gift!

This is another photo of the donkey Dana. Her ear was just in the right position over the top of the fence that I couldn't resist.

ears

“my what big ears you have”

said the girl in red

“the better to hear you with my dear”

said the wolf in bed

she replied rather shyly

“that is sure to be the case

but i have a good idea

of something for that space

we could adorn those ears

and make them dazzle

rings and studs upon them

would definitely bedazzle”

so she glittered up mr. wolf

so he no longer looked ugly

now he goes about with a smile

and he now acts very smugly.
