John's Annual Solar Revolution Date

August 23

I am thankful for, in his own words, my son John's 'Annual Solar Revolution Date.' Today is John's birthday. I've done daily blogs on John, My Daughter, and another on Birthdays, but I haven't done one on John's Birthday, or John's 'Annual Solar Revolution Date.' Happy birthday, John, my best buddy!

This is a photo of John that I took a few months back. He is sporting his favorite hat of late. He's been wearing it as he performs in concerts and around and about. I do like that hat.

annual solar revolution

another year

another orbit around the sun

it takes 365.2 days

to complete every annual run

but even though it marks

the end of an evolution

it also marks the beginning

of a brand new revolution

but it’s only cyclical

within an annual confine

for you are continuing to grow wise

and mature as the years combine.
