Goals

September 11

I am thankful for goals. A goal for to strive makes life exciting and full of purpose. Our goals should not be so distant that achieving them takes a long time and are difficult to achieve. Goals should be steps on our way to our ulitmate purpose. They should be able to be achieved in a short enough time that we don't get frustrated and abandon them. When a goal is reached there should be a natural progression to another one and another one on down the line.

This is a photo of my neighbor's kids' basketball goal which I took one early-evening when the moon was perfectly positioned to be like a basketball headed for the basket. I like that analogy - shoot for the moon and make your goal!

goals

some say my goals

lack extreme foresight

many say my goals

suffer from being light

but what is wrong with the goals

so vividly black and white

of successfully waking in the morning

and going to bed at night?
