Autumn

November 9autumn,cypress tree

I am thankful for autumn. The change in temperature and humidity is welcomed after a long, hot, humid summer. Autumn brings milder days and sometimes bright oranges and reds. Fall festivities are the most beloved holidays of the year. The closing of the year leads us to anticipate a new year around the corner and gives us time to tie up knots to bring a successful year a last final hurrah. But it's not over yet. Some of the best is yet to come.

This is one of the two cypress trees on the circle outside my house. Although pretty rare in Louisiana, as you can see, autumn colors sometimes give us a real jolt!
